APOPTOSIS AND REPARATIVE PROCESSES IN THE MUCOSA OF THE MAXILLARY SINUS POST INJURY

The monograph contains data collected during an experimental end clinical study of the maxillary sinus posttraumatic. The focus is made on the distribution and activity of nitric oxide synthesizing elements, role of nitric oxide and mechanisms of apoptosis in the human and rat Schneiderian membrane in different periods after local traumatic injury and deafferetation. A model of experimental posttraumatic maxillary sinusitis prospective for further studies in dentistry and otolaryngology is suggested. The book is addressed to professional dentists and otolaryngologists, as well as to scientists studying mechanisms of short-distant inflammation control and apoptosis in norm and pathology.
